F.A.M.E. Bible School For Ukambani

On Thursday 6th Feb. 03 a long cherished plan came into being when F.A.M.E. Bible School opened its doors to the spiritual needs of many pastors, elders and Sunday School Teachers in the area.

Having known from the very beginning of the lack of good Bible Training, I purposed to address this issue as soon as circumstances allowed. Needless to say the Livingstone Christian Education Centre is our meeting place. This building has been a Godsend to us, and enables us to pursue evangelism in so many ways that would otherwise be impossible.

The Bible School is being set up under the tuition and guidance of Dr. Japeth Mwanthi, moderator of the Independent Presbyterian Church, founding Father and for many years principal of Faith College Nairobi. (East African Christian Alliance).

Having an earned Doctorate in Biblical counselling, Dr Mwanthi is well qualified for the role, as well as being an excellent teacher.

The Bible School meets for two days per week and we hope that by the end of the course these pupils will acquire a good working knowledge of Gods word, a knowledge that will enable them to have something more substantial to set before their respective congregations each Lords Day.

Often we have visits from dignitaries and MP's. Here the new DC is shown around our base at Curran Clinic.

Our outreach clinic at Mulinde (almost 40 kilometres from our base) has proved to be a great benefit to the community.

Our nurses are confronted with some horrific injuries.

I never cease to be thankful to God for their skills at bringing ease to those in pain.
